📜 Quranic Foundation (Surah An-Nisa 4:11-12)
Children: Male receives twice the share of female.
Daughters only: 1 daughter = 1/2, 2+ daughters = 2/3 shared equally.
Parents: Each gets 1/6 if deceased has children. Mother gets 1/3 if no children and no siblings.
Spouses: Husband gets 1/2 (no children) or 1/4 (with children). Wife gets 1/4 (no children) or 1/8 (with children).
Siblings: Inherit only when no parents or male descendants exist.
⚖️ Key Principles
'Awl (عول): When fixed shares exceed 100%, all shares are proportionally reduced.
Radd (رد): When fixed shares are less than 100% and no residuary heirs exist, remainder returns to fixed heirs.
Hajb (حجب): Certain heirs block others.
'Asabah (عصبة): Male agnates inherit remainder after fixed shares.
Surah An-Nisa (4:11-12): "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females..."
